The bike is equipped with a 748cc two-stroke triple mated to a five-speed transmission and finished in blue with tri-tone stripes. Factory equipment includes oil injection, a capacitor discharge ignition system, and an automatic chain oiler, while period modifications consist of pod air filters, Bill Wirges expansion chambers, Kawasaki dual front disc brakes, heavy-duty rear shocks, and Excel wire-spoke alloy wheels.
